Lansweeper is a software for managing IT assets and scanning network connected devices. The software can scan and identify all IP devices on the network and workstations for Windows, Linux, and Mac and index them. The deep scan engine uses a set of different protocols to identify and retrieve data from any network-connected device. All received data can be stored in a SQL Compact or SQL Server database.
Lansweeper software has an open database design, so reporting operations are performed using standard SQL Server database queries and can be visualized by built-in software tools. In addition to monitoring software and hardware, the tool also has additional features such as a development module for software distribution, updates or scripting on a Windows computer, and ticket support.
