SYSMAC STUDIO is a complete platform for automation of machines and production lines. The software is built on principles such as machine-to-person fit, open programming standards, and flexible communication so use can be customized based on different people’s preferences. The result will be a robust integrated platform that includes security, configuration, programming, activity sequencing, movement, monitoring, control and many more.
This software is capable of communicating with CNC machines and performs fine control of movements and tracing for cutting, drilling and more. This has enabled the Sysmac platform to provide security, visibility and robotic capabilities using the G Code and IEC standard programming languages and allow complete control of the product line. Complete integration of production components will increase production and simplify the development process, which is of paramount importance in this industry.
The manufacturer of this product, Omron, has been using PLCs since 1971, so the use of these controllers has become one of the company’s standards and principles. Omron enables high-speed and precision controllers to sync all machine equipment and maximize product line efficiency. SYSMAC STUDIO is compatible with a variety of standard ports, such as Ethernet, EtherCAT, RS232 and USB, which are available on NJ and NY series controllers.
